TCA Quadrant Airbus versus TCA Quadrant Boeing

For Thrustmaster and MFS 2020

Having verified malfunction of some addons such as the Hawck T1 (which forced to correct the operation of the throttles of the TCA Airbus; the C90 and C95 that turned off the instruments after 1 minute after the start of operation, I read what was said about the subject and found that someone said that everything worked well with the deactivation of the TCA Quadrant thrustmaster.
At the time I did not value the subject, but when I acquired the TCA quadrant from Boeing I was awed because in this hardware everything worked well without any need for special procedures.
My question is:
If both TCA are made by the same manufacturer (Thrustmaster), why does the TCA Airbus present so many problems and that of Boeing none?
Who will settle the matter to Thrusmaster, MFS 2020 or both?

It depends. TCA Boeing is a later generation hardware. So any mistakes that they learned from making a previous generation of products could be analysed and improved upon future models. There’s also fundamental differences in the design between an Airbus-style sidestick, versus a Boeing-style yoke.

That being said, I think it’s best to understand and accept the reality that there’s so such thing as a universal control profile that works for everything. The default profile can cover most scenarios, but for everything there’s always some degree of tweaking needed. Even if the TCA Boeing works with everything in the current lineup. There’s always a potential that future aircraft with a different philosophy may not work with the default profile binding. So you would end up having to create a separate profile with a custom binding to get it to work.

So that’s how I always do it with my TCA Airbus for my multiple aircraft. I set a control profile for FBW A32NX, I also create a separate profile for the Headwind A330-900neo. And I also set a separate profile for F-18, etc. etc.

That way, I know that those control profiles are optimised to work with those specific aircraft.

Thanks for the reply given. What you said there seems to be no possible solution to the case of the C90 and C95 that turned off the instruments after 1 minute after the start of operation by interference from the TCA quadrant airbus!
