TCS Q-Eng 3&4 not working after SU4 - HELP!

Guys, my TCS Q-Eng 3&4 is not working after the SU4.

I’ve checked it from my Control Panel and it detects it, all buttons and throttle are recognized and registered, plugging in and out gives out the audible. But when in-game after SU4, it doesn’t work (see screenshot).

Any help here?

Press the arrow to switch to your other profile.

Tried. And besides, there’s only 1 profile, which is Default.

Then you can create a new binding. It’s a hassle, but as long as you have a custom profile stored into your account, it should be persistent.

It’s not even a binding issue. It’s very strange - MSFS recognizes there’s a quadrant plugged in (as seen in my screenshot), but the picture of it doesn’t show up at all. But for the joystick (T.A320 PILOT), it shows the picture of the joystick. I went into SENSITIVITY and it recognized movement when I throttle up and down. But once out of there and back to this screen, it doesn’t show up.

I’ve updated the quadrant drivers from Thrustmaster site, as well as the firmware. Followed the instructions, double checked from Control Panel and it is there, but in-game, it doesn’t show up.

What else should I do?

Check your Front switch at the bottom front part of the quadrant, it looks like you’re on Engine 3 & 4 mode. Switch it back to Engine 1 & 2 mode.

It’s on 3&4 mate. I’ve even tried switching it between 1&2 and 3&4.

Okay, you’re on throttle 3&4… Where’s your throttle 1 & 2 then?

Just note that the engine 3 & 4 doesn’t have the picture, it never has. The engine 3&4 is used for quad engine setup, where you have two quadrant sets connected at the same time, one for Engine 1&2 and another on Engine 3&4. So only Engine 1&2 mode will have the picture, and that’s the only engine mode that has the default bindings. If you set it to Engine 3&4 you have to manually bind them using a new profile. It won’t have the picture, but it still works.

Even if you switch it, you have to do it with the correct procedure. Unplug the quadrant, flip the switch to engine 1&2 then plug the quadrant back in, let the sim detects the new mode. If you just flip the switch while the quadrant is plugged in, it’s not going to work.

YES!!! IT WORKS NOW!!! Followed your instructions, flipped back to 1&2, unplug, power off PC, cracked a beer, plug it back in, power up PC, launch MSFS and it works!!!

■■■■ it! I am 427.5hours into the Sim, done a world tour once, and on my second world tour, and I was about to uninstall / reinstall the Sim too!!!

Dude, you’re a life saver!!! You sir, are the real hero!

ehh, 400 is good enough… And then here’s mine… Hahaha. Glad it works out for you.. happy flying.
