Looking at the TDS & just wondering if the TDS GTNXi allows user holds, e.g. suspending HILPTs & holding at another fix, then returning to the approach…
Couldn’t find anything about holds in the manual online.
TIA

In the flight plan select the waypoint and then select Hold At Waypoint.
Awesome, thanks.
You can do it with user waypoints as well, but it has to be added to the flight plan first.
Thanks - can the user waypoints can be added in-flight?
I assume so, but figured I’d ask.
Yes, click anywhere on the map to add a waypoint, mark it as temporary if you won’t need it again. Then go to add a waypoint to the plan, and by default the list presented should be filtered on “Recent”, so it should be right at the top in case you didn’t give it a meaningful name. You can then click on it to then “Hold at waypoint”.
Perfect, thanks again.
Point of order that a HILPT is specific to an approach procedure and will always be charted, versus a user hold.
Thanks - sorry, I couldn’t edit my original post for some reason (until this morning). Clarified there.
