Telemetry and sinconnect by ip xbox

i remeber being shot down in flames wheni asked about simconnect on xbox,

anyone care to explain why forza 7 has telemetry but fs2020 doesnt have anything of the like?

why can we not have a simple rest endpoint hosted on the xbox where we can send a simple json like

{“set”:“nav1”, “values” : {“frequency”:135.98}}
to set the nav frequency etc. and telemetry?

with that we could easily create button boxes and tablet apps that replicate radio and nav panels etc.

this could unlock a wide maket of home simmers upgrading their aging pc sims to use xbox s/x units

Especially if you have programming experience this fact is even less comprehensible. We are talking about 20-30 important values that need to be synchronized. It doesn’t have to be a sophisticated 3D instrument panel viewer.

In principle, the Xbox is not designed for such things, so I would go an even simpler way than addressing the xbox directly.

Why not use the Microsoft account for value synchronization? You only need a tablet app with which you can log in to your account and retrieve these values in real time anywhere. I don’t see the problem.
