I spent a day two weeks ago setting up my settings to get the maximum FPS out of it while still have good quality visuals. I settled on settings that provided between 30 and 40 FPS flying around my home town.
Since the update yesterday, I’m now getting between 15 and 17 FPS. The ONLY thing that helps drive the FPS up is changing the render scale. Moving it to 30 gives me 80FPS, but anywhere close to 100% kills the performance.
My rig hasn’t changed, my game settings hadn’t changed. The only change was the latest release and it’s made the it unusable! I don’t want Asobo forcing updates on me, especially when they break critical elements of the sim and make it unusable.
Is anyone else experiencing extreme drops in performance since upgrading?
I too am now having an issue with VR after the update. SIM crashes after about 1-2 minutes. Before the update it worked fine. Granted my machine is not that high powered but it worked with graphic settings at Low-Med.
No se si os pasa tambien que no funciona el menú cuando estás volando.
Mueves el ratón por ejemplo para cambiar la meteo, pulsas y no hace nada en VR.
En cambio en monitor si funciona.
I don’t know if it happens to you too that the menu doesn’t work when you’re flying.
You move the mouse for example to change the weather, press and do nothing in VR. Instead on the monitor if it works.
Try pressing CTRL+0 then see if you can change the weather etc in VR

Tienes razón, pulsando CTRL +0 se activa, pero hay que hacerlo cada vez que vuelas.
Por otro lado definivamente rompieron la VR, me va muy mal comparado con la anterior UPDATE, no entiendo como no comprueban estas cosas antes de lanzar una actualización así. Espero que lo arreglen en un parche porque por ahora no se va a poder volar con VR.
