Terrible stutters when changing flight

Hi folks. When I open the sim and do the first flight, all is ok. But when I go back to the main menu to setup a new flight (new plane, location etc) the sim starts to show so much stuttering that is almost impossible to fly for me. I have to restart MSFS to bring back the smoothness.

Anyone having the same issue? Thanks in advance.

IIRC, this has been a problem since the start of MSFS. I believe it was reported at that time that you have to exit MSFS and restart it after a flight. That’s what I have to do. Sorry, I know that’s not good to hear.

If someone else has found a workaround I’m sure they’ll share it.

I experienced the same a couple of month ago, but as soon as I enabled the local cache, the issue disappeared. Are you using a local cache file?

Hi, thank you for your reply
Is the “Local cache” the rolling cache or the manual cache?

I just created the manual cache, will see if it works.

I meant the rolling cache which in my case stopped the stuttering on a second flight. I set the limit to 30G.

I have the exact same problem. This hasn’t been an issue for me before. It’s quite new.
Could you solve the issue?
