I decided to visit the South Pole. Following heading 180 for too long gets you to a terrifying place.
Firstly, some pretty gnarly 10,000ft+ terrain that appears to surround the South Pole, making it very difficult to go there.
Then once you get in, it becomes a sort of Lynchian nightmare:
