Terrifying places

I decided to visit the South Pole. Following heading 180 for too long gets you to a terrifying place.

Firstly, some pretty gnarly 10,000ft+ terrain that appears to surround the South Pole, making it very difficult to go there.

Then once you get in, it becomes a sort of Lynchian nightmare:

I wish I could I post the full experience - a random altitude cycle, muffled propellor sound, camera getting stuck and aircraft disappearing into an abyss…
