UI (& possibly in-game) text is corrupted when viewing the game on a 55" 4K TV. This was also observed during the tech-alpha. Note: This bug may be specific to Intel Arc GPUs.

Every time on sim-load.

:white_check_mark: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

  1. Install MSFS 2024 onto a PC connected to both a 1080p display & a 55" 4K HDR-enabled TV.
The game window should show on the 1080p display during installation.
  2. After completing the Setup steps, go to Settings > General and turn off HDR10
(see this related bug for why this step is needed)
  3. Change from full-screen to windowed-mode & move the game window to the 55" monitor.
Navigate through the UI - the various Settings pages are a good place to start. Note the text corruption in the UI (see screenshots below). Note that this bug was also present in the Tech-Alpha, see this bug reported at the time. Many more screenshots were provided to the ZenDesk in this ticket: Request #224704 Text Corruption with Intel Arc 770.)

Just trying to start FS2024 for the first time

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

Arc770 16Gb with older drivers (two version before latest release)

1440 resolution on LG 23" monitor

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Same issue here. A770 with newest drivers (32.0.101.6297). 1440 on LG 34" monitor.

Looks like Intel just released new drivers with a fix for MS FS 2024 on 11/19

Yes, I downloaded v32.0.101.6299 last night from here & installed. It does appear to have addressed this issue, but not the HDR bug I reported here, though I need to test more to confirm that.

Moved out from Bug category since a solution has been marked.
