Thank you Asobo on working with the FBW team on providing the autopilot temporary fix!

Why not try the 747? I believe it is in the standard edition (I have prem delux, but I believe the 747 is in standard)

It seems to be performing a lot better than before. It does have some strange quirks such as requiring you to shut off auto throttle just before landing (or expect some serious fun trying to land - use the key combo). Also on occasion it may settle to an altitute about 50-100 abovve or below the given altitude, but a quick vs up or down will sort it out. Also you may sometimes need to manually set the Transponder ( a fault that also occures with the B787)

I did a low altitute IFR (using world map, but with departure procedures and arrival procedures) from manchester airport (on runway) to Heathrow, and apart from the engiens not turnign off (because i have unlimted fual enabled) it flew quite well with almost no drama, with the AP going through all the waypoints, up from departure, through cruise, approach patterns then ILS landing until kiss down on the runway.

Being such a large plane you woudl need to keep flaps down for a while longer on take off, and climb, and start pulling down the flaps earlier on approach. But even the partially working VNAV manages to correctly slow down the speed whilst the flaps are changing.
