Thank you Asobo on working with the FBW team on providing the autopilot temporary fix!

I don’t fly the A320 at all but am very happy to see this kind of collaboration. Thanks to everyone involved.

Thank You Asobo and Fly By Wire ! Now that’s what I call a partnership! Cheers :beers:

What’s the ETA of this new update is it gonna be days or weeks? I’m seriously getting ■■■■■■ off

Barring an unsuspected hotfix, the development roadmap suggests the next update will be on 12/23.

Very nice development - thanks to both!

My thanks to Asobo but especially the FBW team.

A huge thank you also to all those who supported and commented on my recent thread over the last 24 hours, including the moderators who passed the comments to the community team.

Hopefully the sim can now get back on a positive track.

Hopefully after this fix my A320 wont be grounded anymore!

Just saw this thread… yes… thanks so much for getting a fix in place so quickly.

I don’t fly the airliners, but just knowing that a fix has been identified and will be released in the coming weeks is really great.

Thanks again for working so hard to make Flight Sim so much fun to “fly.”

Cheers!

:beers:

1st – Great teamwork … Good job by all.

REF: These fixes, that are currently in the form of a MOD, that Asobo is going to integrate into the sim

Is the implementation of the MOD into the sim all that is required, or does Asobo also need to update other things, deep within the sim (that cannot be user Modded), in order to fully achieve the desired fix ?

Basically, were all the things that are getting fixed, exposed items, or is Asobo also needing to do “internal sim” updates to get this all to work.

ie Just how achievable was this type of extensive MOD, without input and changes by ASOBO as well. ? – and will be ever know any details of what those internal changes were ?

The MOD is there for all to see (if they can follow the code) – the internal stuff is not

Now may I ask Intel to collaborate with MS/Asobo to fix my unprecedented stutter issue with the latest Update 7, advertised as optimization.

So thanking them for doing their work?
Interesting, I can see my boss thanking another guys for doing what I’m supposed to do and paid for…
Being like that , make msfs open source and free for all then.
Respect for the fbw team

Asobo makes mistakes and bugs along the way, but looking at all the dev stream and this, I can’t say they don’t try as much as they can. :+1:

I agree they should send a check to flybywire or some form of compensation whatever it could be… Now can we have a statement that it will be fix ON ALL PLANES with the next patch? I guess if there’s 3 weeks to go to next patch it won’t be to difficult??

Microsoft can be happy that there is FBW, but also the entire community.
How it works at the moment with affordable payware, but also a lot of freeware - impressive.

I was quite vocal in my disappointment that the latest patch had broken the best airliner/mod aircraft in the sim. So I’m really happy to be equally vocal in thanking Asobo and the amazing community at FBW for not only working tirelessly to get at the bottom of the problem, but communicating with each other and getting a fix out ASP. This is so very much appreciated and a really good sign going forwards. Thank you all and especially Sebastian from Asobo, ensuring this was made possible so quickly.

FBW download server is busy… i’ve got a 500 Mbit-connection…

Really awesome to see Asobo collaborate with one of the community projects like this, not something you often see game studios do.

It’s a great news and gives me hope for the future.
The FBW mod is great and works great. Unfortunately for me it’s the end of the dream. I can’t use A320 without mod because it’s flawed, and I can’t use with the mod because it’s a FPS killer for me.
To bad, I think I will have to stay with GA for now

Why do you say ‘end’? It doesn’t look that it ever began. :grinning: What kind of specs are you running? Running instrument refresh at Medium? Many things can be tweaked for improvement.
