P3DV5 is the reincarnation of the old OOM and very buggy, still are charging for this.
I do not know. I don’t know that PMDG or FSlab will be any good either. You know why? Because there is problem with core flying model. This is as simple as that. The only reason PMDG or FSlab will be bringing their product ported is maybe it’s very easy to port. Like i see that the handcrafted airports they included have the same bgl file format that we used to in p3d or fsx. I could be wrong. If PMDG or FSlabs product solves the flight dynamics issue then it will be great. But by looking the response from the devs & micrsoft’s past practice i am keeping my hopes down to minimal.
Note to others that i am not pissed off because the jets have only 30% of the panels working. I am more into how the aircraft handling in the air & compare it to what we have currently available. I am also not that stupid to compare the default with pmdg level stuff. You fly the default 747 in FSX & FS2020 & then tell me which one feels much realistic.
Don’t say WE. Talk for yourself. Nobody has been “muted” and several real life pilots praise the FS2020.
So do the professional reviews. Nothing more to say. But I repeat: Do not talk for me using WE.
i quite at V3 and just left the sim total, switched to DCS and IL-2 (just found about it at that moment) and never looked back, but with this sim am back and am having the time of my life
Every sim, fsx, p3d, x-plane include some basic planes. Not all of them are top notch. Can you remember any default FSX plane that was great? I can’t.
They just include it for people who want to try something new. I don’t see a problem with that. They did explain that creating a high fidelity aircraft such as PMDG is a lot of work.
You can do IFR if you want to. Not sure how that is related to only airliners. I did already a couple of IFR flights with the CJ4. It has issues yes, but it’s doable.
The jets in the new flight simulator are not great, but they’re also not the worst for a newcomer. Just be patient and wait for PMDG/FSlabs to enter the arena.
Whats that got to do with paying an outrageous price for the base game and then being expected to pay lots more for the addons needed to turn it into a real game? Or did you just click the wrong reply button?
what about them ?
They have said MSFS is an new system and require new stuff to learn, it’s far from easy, the flight model model is not the same as before either the 3d model. They are talking with them all the time and they do implement new stuff quickly, it’s all on their forum.
Another guy whining because the default Airliners are not PMDG level …
“Will you buy unfinished car? Or TV set with, let say, few colors missing ?”
This one. P3D is not a consumer product. They never advertised it. They fixed a product that was appreciated by the community 14 years ago which Microsoft abandoned. Over the time they bought many many features into the simulator. First it ported to 64 bit to fix the OOM issues. Then their major addition was DX 12. P3D & X-plane are currently on a very stable platform. Minus the eye candy stuff. It maybe using the same flight model from 2000 but it doesn’t feel arcade in any way possible. What’s the point of releasing a product an advertising it has 56 flying movement point whereas in reality it doesn’t feel like real at all & handles like a paper made airplane? I guess the devs misjudged the majority of the community that how advance of a flight model we are used to & thought only making eye candy stuff will get their product successful.
The controls do seem way over sensitive, yes you can adjust the curves for the control, but adjusting them too much isn’t ideal. But there seem something wrong with the way the aircraft reacts to control inputs and turbulence, it’s like everything is reacting too quickly almost like the air isn’t giving as much resistance as it should maybe?
I’m hoping that the 3rd party aircraft are much better.
If they included study level aircraft ( like pmdg) we would have to pay a lot more for the product then now, so it is all about (commercial/financial) concessions…
Yes i will say we. Because there are many of us. We were muted. Threads have been locked out when we made complaint about these issues during alpha & beta testing.
Yes, if someone TELLS me it’s unfinished when it’s clearly not.
I tend to be very skeptical of people who claim to speak for a number of people to bolster their argument.
Trying the default 152, it acts a lot like the real aircraft. Now you can say this is ancedotal and it is but so is everything you say.
No flight sim has impressed me as this has and I’ve been doing this a very long time.
No one expected PMDG/Carnedo quality from the default aircraft. No one threw out FSX because of the default aircraft and I supect no one will here will either.
I was there in Alpha from day one. Don’t tell lies here.
I can’t recall threads being closed down honestly. They were pretty fair in leaving threads open and letting people talk about issues as long as it was respectful.
I am not telling lies. Go out of this forum & you will find many like me complaining. We have been muted or deteled or ignored. This happened before, same thing with the Aces studio. Because the devs don’t simply care. This is a really big thing & when they understand that they are trying to accomplish something which is way above their head. They simply rushed to release an unfinished flying product(i will never ever call it a simulator).
It’s still your OPINION against the OPINIONS of lots of real life pilots saying that they feel like it’s realistic.
You cannot say that based on your (and your friends) opinion this game sucks for everyone.
If this is not for you, so be it, get that refund and go back to X-Plane or FSX.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution
This is totally ridiculous, no delete or muted, only merging post to similar thread to get better reading, also they fix several things before, if you think they ignored, you are totally wrong, some stuff can take more time then you think, you are obviously not a developer and don’t know how much time can take to implement or fix.
