The Ability to Sell or Close a Company

I foresee a long list of Companies I no longer wish to operate once I have more money, why would i do aerial advertising once I’m in the commercial passenger business

Close/delete the company with the ability to transfer the aircraft to your new/other companies.

Should be easy if we could just sell our companies

That would be nice! I’ll take the ability to simply change the name of my company though lol. It’s so absurd that clicking “Edit name” causes a “coming soon” message to pop up.

They allow the change of the name of your company with the latest update. However, we need the ability to close/delete a company and transfer the aircraft to new/other company. The ability to transfer the assets and liabilities to a different company.

I can understand why you would want to close and sell a company and assets, but what would the reasoning for transferring an aircraft to a different company? Are you referring to something like repurposing a passenger aircraft for a cargo company?

Since we are simulating, the aircraft is a part of your enterprises assets. So generally, if you close or sell a company your transfer the assets and liabilities to the new company. In simple terms, I purchased the aircraft and I don’t think we should lose that aircraft if we decide to pursue a different business.

I guess what I’m getting at is what’s the difference between transferring the plane to a different company or letting the current company sit with it even if it’s dormant? Or if you still plan to use it, use it with the current company. From what others have said, it sounds like the only reason to start a new company is to fly a different mission type, so transferring that plane wouldn’t work out anyway.

I do not follow you not following :grinning:

You would be able to use your aircraft for multiple types of business’. i.e, and Cessna could to crop dusting, site seeing, or cargo.

That’s what I was trying to get an answer to at first. Not sure how easily that could be implemented because the aircraft could require a different configuration. I.e. Removing seats to convert from a passenger to cargo variant. It would probably require coding that essentially deletes the current plane and recreates a new one of the new variant, and then copy things like its condition into the new plane. May be a little more easier said than done.

those variants already exist in the sim … so no additional coding needed. Charge us $25,000 to reconfigure the Cessna and then the other variant shows.

Well look here boys! We done got one that went and landed in Dream City lol. JK
