Also, people are invested in their old sim that they’ve spent years and hundreds/thousands of dollars on - so they want to defend their choice and look more old skoool hardcore than the “Xbox kiddies” here

They’ll all be on MSFS in 2 years anyways and will have forgotten about P3D… Except those 3 guys still on FS2004 because “it runs just fine on their PC”.

Or you could simply enjoy all new and prior sims how you see fit.
No need to have to only enjoy one or pick a side and bash the others.
In 2 years the FSX,P3D,XP11,FS2004 sub forums will still be active.
FSX SE is still currently being purchased on Steam and multiplayer servers are still very lively.

People are going to like what they want to like and there isn’t anything wrong with that.
