The biggest beta test ever!

Since the disastrous launch, I manage to complete more than 20 flights in every mode.

It’s amazing that I found bugs in absolutelly EVERY FLIGHT!!
Planes without sound, stuck loadings, ATC instruction that didn’t make any sense, missions impossible to complete, hardwares that the system don’t recognize… The list is huge and keeps growing every time I open the sim.

It’s amazing how this product was released so incomplete. I know that the companies have to accomplish some release dates but I never saw anything like this.

I’m a FS user since FS4 and thats by far, the worse simulator ever released!

It’s impossible to fly without having a bug.
All the “experience” using the software is only based on how lucky you are to get a good server slot.
We paid to enter in a beta test program.

Well done MS/Asobo!

I don’t think FS2024 meets the criteria of a Beta - I think it is an unstable Alpha.

Very good forum topic. I have a similar opinion. God, I haven’t been able to fly for two days because Microsoft doesn’t have proper servers, so I can’t comment on anything else, I just read the posts of forum users.

However, the fact is that MSFS 2024 is a big flop. It is incomprehensible to me why there wasn’t a beta period of about a year. It would have been good to test and fix the bugs during this period. Reading the forum, there are problems with all the components of the simulator. I don’t know if they will ever be fixed, there are so many bugs, very serious bugs, shortcomings.

I watched several videos on YouTube, I don’t see the spectacular landscapes that were in the intro video. A big disappointment, for a lot of money.

I personally got a refund, its expensive as it is without them earning interest on my money in their bank with zilch return to the game buyer. Personally I think all concerned should bow their heads in shame for ever releasing this sham.

I’m not getting a refund, because I really hope they’ll fix it, there’s some potential after all.

However, the topic title is straight to the point: I don’t care about the “ddos” caused by the first-day hype, but the sim is raw and untested in any aspect, and that’s a huge shame. I understand that’s how the business works, but now that the whole lot of casual gamers are going to be repulsed by all that negative reviews, I can’t help but ask if it’s what MS/Asobo really wanted? Hardcore simmers WILL buy the sim sooner or later, but that loyal audience is also limited.

There’s more to come! With trends like these, we’ll soon be testing new processors and video cards!

After 33 flights an 11 hours of flying I finally made a flight without a bug.

It was on Career Mode.

Well Microsoft wanted to do things differently this time around. With 2020 they had free closed and open beta tests for months before launch. With 2024 the beta testing costs money to participate in :)))

Perhaps they discovered and started to explore a new business
