Bush Divers would like to invite all to participate in the first Bush Divers Invitational. This event will start at one of the most epic strips, MXDK La Cienega airstrip in Sinaloa, Mexico. From there we will be hitting several strips in the rugged Sierra Madre Occidental. An announcement will be made prior to the landing challenge event beginning at the next strip. The landing challenge event will be monitored using Volanta (https://volanta.app/) and the one with the lowest FPM and G-Force on touchdown will be declared the winner and receive a 3 month OnAir subscription key. Special considerations:
-MXDK offers no ramp parking and requires you to start on the runway. When you load in, please move to the right or left of the runway to make room for more pilots. We will be starting on RWY 13.
-We will be using Live Weather, if conditions are acceptable, otherwise Partly Cloudy preset should be used.
-You are free to bring the plane of your choosing, from Cubs (single engine pistons) to Caravans (single engine turboprops). Many of these strips are short and rough, so take that into consideration.
