That’s a long haul! Probably about 10 hours in the DC-6 right? Longest I’ve done was Miami (KOPF) to St. Maarten (TNCM), about 5.5 hours, in the DC-6.
What if some of us vintage aircraft freaks got together and did a group flight across the US in the Condor? Even if not everyone could do the whole flight there would be plenty of opportunities to land early.
A group Condor flight anywhere would be amazing.
I agree. Have a whole flock of Condors cruising across the sky. That would be a sight to behold.
A Condor flight is a great idea. The Condors of Danish airline DDL flew Oslo (Fornebu) - Gothenburg - Copenhagen - Hamburg - London (Croydon probably?) and Stockholm - Malmö - Copenhagen - Amsterdam - London.
A group condor flight sounds very fun.
Maybe we call it the condor club? Haha. Would be interested in this.
This would actually be a great route. For one it’s historically accurate and two it should be quite scenic. I’d be willing to jump on a flight of that route for sure.

Discord has voice chat, text chat, and event planning built-in, can be used right from a browser. Seems like it’d work good for this!
I created 2 voice channels one for in flight one for hangout. Some text channels for planning, screenshots, landing videos and discussion.

After some discussion over on the condor feedback thread, I put together a discord server for enthusiasts to organize group flights, and share pic/vids of your condor flights, as well as just general chatting about the plane and sim.
