The Crash that led to A.T.C. (DC-2 Kyeema, Australia, 1938)

The crash of a DC-2, Kyeema, in the Dandenong Ranges near Melbourne, Australia, & the loss of all onboard - 4 crew & 14 passengers - led to a national outcry & high-level Inquiry that subsequently led to the development of one of the world’s 1st Air Traffic Control systems that became a model for other countries. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

Nice, great to see local content. I also watched your recent vid flying around Aussie aviation museums which I also enjoyed. Not sure how you didn’t pick one of their operational spitfires at Temora to show, although you did at least sneak one in for Adelaide.

Thanks for your comments. I did actually think about that! Cheers & happy holidays.
