TotalMoon980154 With this piece of hardware, the performance is sufficient for excellent gameplay; however, the optimization is poor.
it seems you managed to have the high res graphic in yours. Stil no luck on my end. This being said, i do not see any difference between 2020 and 2024 in terms of graphic in your images, which is what i was suspecting from the beta video we got during the year. The graphic is quite stunning in 2020 I have to say so i will most probably stick with 2020.
@florib72 How to not see the differences in the same city.
2020 1925 feet
2024 1700 feet would be more detail
Viewing photographs on a cell phone may be convenient, but observing them on a TV offers a significantly different experience.
Welcome to cloud based gaming, where you are at the mercy of the servers to get good quality visuals
What city is this? Miami, New York and ??
NYC and Miami
here we talk about that already
I haven’t seen Miami, but New York is very good, although it’s not the norm. Your World Trade Center appears as a 3D model; in my case, it appears more photometric.
Because this is not what I see on my end. Glad yours is working well.
This is Geneva in the morning in 2024 (looks like Geneva after a nuclear bomb )
2020:
Pretty desolated Switzerland by the Geneva lake. And… giant shadow of my PC7.
2020:
I think the issue is directly linked to which maps is being loaded because even the globe on the intro GUI is not loading high resolution maps.
My Wifi is at 150 Mbps and using USA Western server, not sure if that might be one of the issue.
Thanks!
p.s. : after reading more info, it seems that the sim will look as it is for now on Xbox until there is a hardware patch.
It’s not incorrect to observe that the picture quality varies; some from 2024 have worse quality, while others from 2020 are much better.
They are no better on a PC either… and a ton of bing map data is outdated; you can read several “gamer blogs” and even IGN articles that showcase this.
Xcloud here. Don’t try to do VNKT - VNLK (Famous Lukla). You’ll feel desperate seeing the mountains turn into a mass in formation. Compared to 2020, 2024 is worse. Xcloud is a Series S in the cloud and has the advantage of being inside the Azure datacenter, so, in theory, the data arrives faster.
