Yes Jorg said last time he was going to talk much more about VR during this Q&A but it never happened, I would like to know why as he built my hopes up that we’d get some concrete answers on the subject.

I really appreciate the summary. I don’t watch the Q&A videos and sometimes skim the write-ups, but just having a nice concise TL:DR summary for them would be really useful I think.

The way I interpreted that was, there could be different ways to interpret the words and he wasn’t sure what the exact wording of the English version.

There is a write-up that usually gets posted a few days later in News and Announcements.
It uses the tag, q-and-a-replay. And you can subscribe to notifications when those get posted by clicking that link, then clicking the 
icon, followed by “Watching First Post”. (You can also subscribe to the whole News and Announcements category the same way, which is what I do, so I get notifications of all news.)

If there was already one in the sim, why did it appear as if they were doing work on it for SU8 in the weekly blog snapshots. Something still doesn’t quite add up here. I did find that the Trees option affects tree render distance slightly, so maybe that’s something new in SU8, but I’m not sure.
I am happy that Jorg decided not to postpone the Q&A due to world events. I agree that what’s happening in Ukraine is horrific however, this flight simulator is one of the ways I de-stress and get my mind off of world events and other things I’d rather not think about for a while. Sometimes we need positive distractions to keep us going.
I liked the format and I like Seb’s detailed technical explanations.
