The most beautiful flight I have done in VR

The most beautiful flight I have done in VR! Imagine embracing the raw beauty of Morocco from the cockpit of your favorite bush plane. Begin your journey from the bustling city of Marrakech (GMMX), and head towards the serene remoteness of Zagora (GMAZ). This 156 nautical mile adventure is nothing short of breathtaking. Fly over the towering peaks of the Atlas Mountains, where lush valleys give way to rugged cliffs, before descending into the mesmerizing desert, with its endless stretches of golden dunes.

But here’s where the magic truly begins. Don’t land at GMAZ. Instead, follow the winding river south-east, where it carves its way, dotted with little settlements, through the arid landscape. As you approach a narrow pass in the canyon, you’ll discover the perfect spot: perch your plane atop the canyon walls (see map). Now, set up camp. Watch as the sky ignites in hues of orange and pink, the sun slowly dipping below the horizon, casting long shadows across the desert floor. It’s just you, the canyon, and the sky, as you take in one of the most spectacular sunsets you’ll ever witness.

MSFS at it’s best, delivering a sense of freedom, exploration, and adventure. What’s your favorite scenic flight?

PS: can’t wait to do this soon in MSFS 2024! Thanks to everyone working on this gem of a simulator! Merci Asobo! :heart_hands:

what did you fly it in? i set out with the 152 with my usual load of pilot/copilot and 50% fuel and struggled to make it above those peaks. I’ll try again with a light load.

made it!

very nice flight, and very well sold
if i may i will suggest to shut down your engine and turn the sim volume up to hear the wind

Awesome! I did it in the Caravan. I did shut down the engine and set up my tent. It was just awesome. Glad you enjoyed it. Getting above the peaks in the 152 must have been really limit
