The new Chinese font introduced in SU04 makes characters' width inconsistent

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

SU04 Update introduces a new font for Chinese characters to make sure texts in the EFB are rendered correctly.

It works well, but the new font also causes the font width of Chinese characters to be inconsistent across all UIs.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

All the time across all UIs.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Change client language to ZH-CN

  2. See if the font width is consistent

Well, I believe this is totally a font error. This issue can be easily fixed by simply changing a display font.
