Thanks for this. Couldn’t find the troubleshooter as such on Windows 11, but thought I’d try moving the store app portion of the Sim from the E drive where it was installed originally, to C (default location) and it seems to have worked. My next trick will be to move it back to E.
In Windows 11, go to settings, Apps, find the App (in this case Microsoft Flight Simulator) in the list. Click on the 3 dots to the right and select Move. It moves the 1.4Gb of base App.
I suspect because it recreates folders and permissions it resets the security settings perhaps… but it worked.
