The Roads Less Traveled
2/1/23 - US-95, Day 5 in Nevada - Death Valley, Nevada Test Site, Area 51, and Nellis AFB
Tonight is a sequel-within-a-sequel of last week’s tour into the depths of the massive block of restricted airspace that abuts US-95 in Southern Nevada. This evening’s journey will detour twice, the first heading into majestic Death Valley, the lowest and hottest part of North America, before crossing back over the highway into the Nevada National Security Site, where we will
view and discuss some of what went into developing and testing America’s nuclear weapons. Just over the ridge, we will pop into Area 51 and see what’s going on there, before finishing our flight with a tour of Nellis AFB and the north side of Las Vegas. There are a TON of points of interest in tonight’s narration, and it’s definitely a don’t-miss!
