The simulator version 1.9.5.0 FPS decrease, stutter
After downloading and installing the 1.9.5.0 update, I experienced a decrease in performance of about 6-8 FPS. The program stutters, does not run smoothly. Have you experienced a decrease in performance?

same here. Framerate still the same, but i notice more stutters. also the game stops from time to time for up to one second.
I’ve given up hope that this Simulator gets better over time.

Appears on GeForce 3080, 3090 high-performance, high-end video cards. However, there is no significant increase in Fps in the simulator. Unfortunately, the program stalls. Other games have a 35-50% performance increase. In my opinion, the top cards should provide the developer with a maximum fixed 60 Fps access to the maximum with all settings. It is very important that the simulator runs smoothly.
I don’t understand why the developer doesn’t optimize the simulator properly. Nowadays, it is already expected to provide 60 FPS with maximum settings.

Guys, at the beginning, the game was visually splendid, but people have complained that it was too heavy. Then Asobo reduced the visual quality, which increased the FPS at the detriment of everyone, so people complained even more. And now that Asobo are reversing to better visual quality, you guys are complaining again about FPS.
Please adjust your settings and be done with it. That’s what they are for.

Please stop with this dumb argument. If you know better, learn some programming and get hired at Asobo, but I don’t think many games require the kind of equation solving mathematics that a simulator performs at each and every frame.
All we ask is a game that simulates a plane correctly, doesn’t crash, has a working autopilot, a realistic/working ATC, and is still good to look at. That will be pretty good already. I’d want that 100% over FPS improvement.

You’re wrong. You need maximum visuals! When released, it had a maximum, amazing view of 45 FPS. With the update, the visual deteriorated and the FPS value became less. What are we talking about? What is the developer doing? In my opinion, it would be good if the developer learned to optimize. State-of-the-art hardware is on the market, it would be appropriate to provide 60 FPS with maximum visibility!

No I’m not wrong. By all accounts he patch 1.93 increased the FPS and decreased the visual quality. I’d rather have adjustable visual quality than maximum FPS and non adjustable reduced visual quality, just because it pleases a few players like you who invested their money on the latest video card and think 60 FPS is a must have when it actually makes zero difference in gameplay. It’s a flight simulator, it’s not a first person shooter for God’s sake !
And you know nothing about this simulator and how much more complex it is than the average AAA game.

I don’t agree with you. We do not live in the past. There are and will be expectations in the present. The level of hardware development has reached that the visuals must be flawless. No more arguing, live in the past with 15-20 FPS. Have a nice day!

Absolutly true real simmers should know that we should be happy with 30+ FPS and not 20-

It’s a really complex piece of software. We should be happy with the Framerate. Also the DirectX12 Update will be released in a few updates. That should in theory improves the performance.
Just because you have expectations doesn’t mean they have to be met.
Also, I see a lot of assumptions thrown around about how the game should be developed, or what goes on behind closed doors at Asobo. Nothing good will come of that.

Yes It is normal from FSX to X-Plane 11 all Highend Systems were struggeling. The new Vulkan API for XP11 boosted the Performance and it’s now based on DirectX12.
In your opinion, there will be change, improvement, what can you expect?
I think it will change because through DirectX11 they are limitided to use a maximum of 4 CPU Cores. And that is the reason why a Single Core Performance is more important . DirectX12 and other APIs would allow if they programm it to use more cores and your GPU can use the Performance they have.
And by the way the most Flightsimulators are CPU bound.
FS2020 is a little bit better with this but you can see it if your GPU usage don’t go over 40 to 50% usage.

Thanks for the reply! I hope …
Do you used other Flightsims before?
I used:
-Flight Simulator series
-X Plane
-DCS
The flight simulator that has just been released has a wonderful visual world, I hope the frame rate and other initial problems will be restored as well. It’ll be the best … I’m a helicopter pilot in life. In my work, those who fly low altitude are therefore also important to the visual world of the simulator.
I’m seeing absolutely splendid frame rates since yesterday morning. I patched this morning without too much hassle, and while I’m unable to get MSFS to see my A32NX mod, everything is running very well on my rig so far.
Ok DCS is something different because the world (Map) is much Smaler. Flightsimulator series runs ok on stock but with Addons the Framerate was low but Flyable with some tuning. For me X-Plane runs the best and worst at the same time.On stock Xplane runs Smooth but with Adonns was my Framerate under 20.
I think tha’s the reason why I am happy with the FS2020. The A320 (with Mod hopefully next year we will become really realistic Airliners) runs well 30 to 40 sometimes higher 50. VFR Aircrafts running Smooth with 50 FPS the most Time over Big Cities like Los Angeles I am round about 30 to 35. On bush trips I am most at 60. I think it is also an individual settings thing. I also switched some Setting for MFS2020 in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Try to play with the Settings a little bit and use the Settings you can life with.

That’s not what asobo have said during the last Q&A. For them, DX12 will be for quality enchancement (like effects) but will not really provide better performance.
I have better fps than FSX/P3D with a very better visual quality, so i’m happy.
