Hello everyone, yesterday around 8:00 p.m. Europe time I made sightseeing flights over New York and here in Düsseldorf. I switched on the player traffic and was amazed what was going on in the sky. I felt like I was in the movie Pearl Harbor. But joking aside, we Alphas and Betas now know the Sim a little better, I would be interested, apart from the installation problems that some have had, how the Sim arrives with you new ones? I am particularly interested in the graphics, realism and controls. Just let us know
I wrote a review myself Review and Advice on the forums if you wish to see a detailed feedback post. In general I like it but as a pilot I am very much feeling the lack of proper aviation maps or decent maps in general, no aerodrome information (tower ground and ATIS frequencies easily available), route planning is not great as it auto designates your route and doesn’t follow the airports as added or allow you to edit the order.
Overall I like it but its not a simulator in its present form. Its probably the most arcade like FS I have played in a long time. Proof of which is you can’t make the flight model spin.
I think these are all addressable issues but there are a mountain of them. As stated though there is a ton to like but it lacks in some of the most important pilot information areas.
