The sound output from the sim should follow the current Windows output device

The sound output from the sim should change when the main OS output device does. All the other games do it this way, and it’s an annoyance having to change this manually from the options menu when you are wearing wireless headphones or a VR headset.

It works as you’re expecting here.

Really annoying because turning on the Reverb G2 automatically swaps Windows output to the headset and it always has to be changed back in order to get sound from the speakers.

Edit: Unless you mean changing the audio device when the sim is actually running? Never tried that so no idea how it’s handled.

Sorry if I didn’t make myself clear about this BeardyBrun, but yes, I meant changing to another output while the sim is running. Let’s say you’re in the middle of a long session and you just want to switch to headphones or do a new flight in VR.

Most windows apps will automagically switch to the new output, because they are always connected to the main bus of the windows sound mixer. I find it really annoying that you have to pause your flight and navigate the menus to the sound options each time you want to switch devices.
