Brief description of the issue:
Transponder changes in flight with and without mods installed. Happened prior to update 4 and prior to that.

Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Set transponder to vfr, take off and code changes to randow code, set it back to vfr or any code and it changes after a minute or 2.

Did you submit this to Zendesk? If so, what is your ticket #? No
Do you have the virtual co-pilot in use to handle ATC comms?
Are you interacting with the ATC window when that happens?
They already stated this:
Are you above FL180 when it happens? That’s the bottom of class A airspace (in U.S.) which requires IFR flight only. I wonder if they’ve programmed that something other than “VFR” has to be in the transponder if you’re at/above FL180.

So I checked my settings, no AI or ATC activated. Removed the mods for the TBM930 and G3000. I still get the codes changing in flight. I tried the Cessna 172 G1000 setup and that aircraft did not change codes in flight. Thoughts? I did remove the TBM and reinstall it.
So I am also having issue with COM1 on VATSIM. It won’t transfer a set freq.
