HI there, There are 3 files that ends with .SPB and .FLT and .PLN…My question is what is the .SPB file and is it safe to delete? Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA.
It’s been a while, but I think when you save a “flight,” you get all three. Some Google digging says that the sbp is a compiled xml file. What it contains is anyone’s guess, but I did find a decompiler based on FSX code. I didn’t bother to download it, so I don’t know if it works on MSFS code or not. When you save a “plan,” you just get the pln file, which is a list of waypoints in xml format. If you delete the sbp, it may affect the loading of the associated flt file, but you can always load the pln by itself.
