ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
At least since the last and first hotfix people are facing low quality map tiles, degenerated photogrammetry and other LOD related issues on aircraft, scenery objects and other SimObjects (ships/passive aircraft)
As people still tend to link this to server side issues I took it to a test. I basically knowingly enforced a rerouting of the Bing tiles download to a Google maps server for this single test. In advance the rolling cache was cleared.
Over there you can spot the Google watermark as proof the tiles are loaded from a different source. Tiles at around 2500ft are already blurry.
As photogrammetry will still be streamed from Bings MSFS server you’ll see a direct comparison between Google tiles and Bing PG on the Frankfurt pictures below which however is not visible as the quality remains the same.

As you see both 2D and 3D are pretty bad at even this low altitude which again let’s me point to this not to seem like server related at all. I’m accessing a completely unrelated Google Maps server using MSFS with my 1Gbit/s connection which is not linked to Microsofts server infrastructure - still the tiles download is at the same speeds which is completely fine:
All this picture tells is that the download of a tile was already finished when the connection reached ~7 Mbit/s, then another download of the next detail level starts. As you always have a ramp up phase you won’t go up to your ISPs speed for this.
To me this means is either a reintroduction of that MSFS 2020 Xbox from the November 2022 bug with overly aggressive automatic LOD adjustment by wrong measured frame times (which would also go somewhat hand in hand with the other LOD bugs you see especially on large aircraft exterior views):
or some other bug related to the MSFS 2024 client (something that drive up frame times across all hardware which makes the LOD level getting adjusted without letting the user know even if the dynamic quality adjustment is turned off). Some evidence in both regards is that some people seem to see some reduction in tree draw distance when selecting a complex airliner in comparison to a simple GA aircraft (not tested by myself yet).
In any case MSFS24 seems to only request low level terrain LODs from the servers starting at about 1000ft AGL.

Nothing altering the experience installed, tested using the default 152 in all default scenery

REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
Precondition: High preset, TLOD to 200, OLOD to 150, Dynamic Quality Adjustment off, Windows regional settings (regional format) to DE (German) and Germany as the region (not sure if this might have an influence).
- Start a flight above and around Frankfurt
- Maintain 1000 to 2000ft AGL
- Take a look at the scenery, maybe manually adjust TLOD up to 400 to see if quality increases
