Thin vertical lines on the screen after Su 8, Reverb G2

Has anyone noticed that after Su 8, there are such thin vertical lines on the screen, especially noticeable when you move your head? Reverb G2. Before, I had a crystal clear image, does anyone have similar feelings?

If you mean the windshield reflections than yes, it is one of SU8 regressions. Setting the windshield effects option from ultra to high has solved the issue for me.

No its not Im talking about… This is not reflection related…

Are you using OXR Toolkit? Cause I’ve had some major issues with it.

First I hear of @KennyKanada. Do you mind giving some details please?

Thx! Well, when I’d hit CTR-F2 and go down the menu, the VR display (and monitor) would go brighter or darker with each press. So to exit, I’d go all the way down the list, and with so many presses the view would be almost black, or bright white. Also the last version was the same but would reduce my prop feather levers and throttles. Someone told me this happens when in drone view. He was right! So now I only set things in cockpit view or in FS menu. It’s an amazing tool and I thank you so very much for developing it. I especially love the brightness and contrast settings. And you converse with everyone everywhere :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yes the drone view is a known thing. We can’t “intercept” the keyboard, so FS2020 still sees the key presses. You can use the desktop companion app to remap the keys though.

I wouldn’t really call this a “major issue” though…

Thanks Matthieu! Good to know. At the time, it seemed major lol! All good now :+1:

Ok, just did some tests. Definitely much better to go into gui menu while in cockpit or escape to fs menu first.
But in cockpit, it still will change my prop feather and throttles in the default Baron. Bizarre lol!
