Interesting. How do I do this on Xbox? Grab some kind of app or something and stream the game off that? How’s it going to do with a near-100 MB fiber connection?
It’s pretty ■■■■ through xbox- through the Microsoft edge app. I bought the nvadia shield second hand from ebay and use the GeForce through that as you get maximum settings and resolution. But I’ve read on here that some are playing it through an old lap top or computer. It’s 20 quid a month for the ultimate tier so I’ll keep using it until hopefully the helix is released. I dont fancy spending 1000s on a computer and I’m not the best of a tech head. The only gripe is you have a 8 min window in which if you haven’t made a input in them 8 minutes it drops you from the cloud, though I’ve just sent for a mouse jiggler to avoid that when flying long haul. I’m on 1gb download, don’t know what the minimum requirements is sorry
You have me interested too. I feel like MS/Asobo are stone deaf to Xbox users and are continuing to- even now - to ignore us.
Did your control profiles transfer OK - I use a mouse + Xbox elite controller… presumably your mouse now connects through the shield?
How much of a problem are the inactivity limitations? Can you fly long haul or are you limited?
Have you tried any resource heavy aircraft? the 707 is a great plane but works well on Xbox as well…
Edit - but now we do get a glimpse of where MSFS is headed? the dev team definitely don’t have the focus or discipline to get the sim running properly on Xbox but they do have ambitious vision and now we see why they were so enthusiastic about a streaming solution - they see a future where expensive dedicated personal hardware is unnecessary…
Profiles transferred over fine. I too use controller and mouse. Though I’m having my mouse with built in jiggler tommorow so will try a long haul with that. I have read several comments that a mouse jiggler will work, even a analogue wrist watch ticking away under the mouse supposedly works.
I stil haven’t tried any other plane as I only received the shield 2 days ago but I’ve read many comments that the more complex heavy airliners work pretty good.
What’s amazing is the shield is smaller and slimmer than a paper back and it’s there doing all this heavy work. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a slight stutter here and there but nothing major. The pristine look of the sim, especially at a busy airport blows the mind. I’m sure the sound is also a lot better, maybe it’s just the 707, I’d have to try it on xbox to compare but I’m not getting the drop in sound like I was on xbox or that fuzzy sound throughout the flight.
I forgot to mention that on ultimate tier you get 100 hours playtime a month and can do a maximum 8 hour non stop stretch before being dropped from the cloud, though you can join back in for another session . So any flights I plan over 8 hours would have to be flown on the xbox. Bit of a pain but things may change for an extra 5 quid on the tier 
I flew the PMDG 737-800 today on GFN and it works fine. Better than on Xbox X.
For what it’s worth, I’ve found the following settings work best for me.
My FPS hovers around 110 and drops into the 90’s when slewing the view around.
I tried DLAA but it got a little stuttery. Quality looks better.
BTW, I have 600 Mbps fiber but it never comes anywhere close to using all of that.
I never realised there was advanced settings for grass, waves, etc. I’ll have to check them out
Yeah click on global rendering quality button that says “custom” and you get all the extra stuff in there
I just tried tried the a350 in GFN and it’s so much better than xbox.. Not a long flight, just flying around London from Gatwick. The picture is so crisp and ultra smooth. Xbox seems to be looking more like a relic 
How does it work with the beta on GFN. If I wanted to come out of it? I’m not but just wondering
I did some more playing around today with the graphics settings in GFN, and I think this is actually the best I’ve gotten. My projector has a 60 Hz refresh rate, so I synced to that and switched back to DLAA. My in-game renderering and display streaming are both a steady 60 FPS.
It looks really good! I’m checking out all the new sights in Italy. It’s actually fun to fly again.
Update I was noticing some shimmering in the distance and with street lights at night, so I reduced the AMD FidelityFX Sharpening to zero and it went away.
You can’t access the beta on GFN. They only run the current production version.
On a positive note, I’ve managed to do quite a few trouble free flights on Xbox in the 737, A350, MD11 and 777 over the weekend. LOD is looking much better for me and everything is running quite smoothly.
For me, there’s been no change in LOD - still bad.
