I’m also still using a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 from around 2001 or 2002, not sure really. I’ve modded it with a physical ON/OFF switch, an angled power cord, and sleek cable sleeve.
As FF joysticks have vanished from the market, and out of fear to not get my flight sim fix, once my beloved MSFF2 gives up its ghost, I’ve purchased another three identical ones over the years, but so far the original one, despite having several thousand hours on its gears, still looks pristine, and is going strong “knocks on wood”
