To be fair most aircrafts are in maintenance most of the time and is checked on by maintenance after every flight. There are times when they find a mechanical issue and will have to be belly up until it’s fixed. So in this case the sim is real world. 
The sim runs great 99% of the time for me. Except yesterday I was approaching KLAS in VR about to land and my PC shutdown, it rebooted. I checked the system events and it was a memory leak issue. However, it was the first time it does such a thing and no I’m not blaming the sim.
