This simulator is like listening to someone who owns a boat!

Or people could stop opening up thread after thread of the same stuff time and time again. What I really don’t understand is why people feel the need to do this. They must think it accomplishes something, whereas it actually does the opposite. Sure there are isues to be resolved. We all know and can see the threads where those issues are intelligently raised, explained, discussed and their profile raised. Unfortunately this thread isn’t one of them - it’s click-bait.

Threads like this create noise that drowns and hides the issues. It is tiring, depressing and wears people down. And that’s just those reading the forum - I can only imagine how reading this feels if you are a developer or tester in Asobo who has devoted several years of your life to building the sim.

One thing that people who post here should consider - and it is entirely their choice of course - which of these approaches to do you think yields better results?

A) Continually down-crying someone, constantly pointing out their mistakes and failures and their perceived incompetence, shouting at them and yelling at them to do better, do it faster, stop being so bad at what they do, “I know better…” and all of that, and (perhaps worse), sneering at them with snide and sarcastic remarks and bad analogies to make sure they are in no doubt about their inadequacies

or

B) Recognising what someone has achieved, being candid and clear on things they’ve done that could be better or have gone better, praising them for what has gone well, making constructive suggestions as to how they can improve and be better in the future, building their trust in themselves and that they have the skills and knowledge to do the job and encouraging their self belief and sense of self worth

You’re right, I should know better, and I should mute the thread and I shouldn’t have clicked the “View 1 Hidden Reply” button either
