Yes this Sim is really buggy, but X-plane was far, far worse.
I reckon 20% of my time was spent actually flying in X-plane, if that! I’ve already made up for, & surpassed that with Flight simulator.
On top of that, Microsoft & Asobo have really stepped to the fore when it comes to working with the community. I’ve never seen community engagement like this before, even if it’s had some hiccups.
X-plane on the other hand is run & steered directly by an overgrown child, who’s a nice enough guy, but he couldn’t give a cr*p about what the community wants. And so, the Sim stagnated for years…
