i found this post and wanted to put this here: i had this happen to me today and i found how to fix it:
- link your steam account to your xbox account by opening the game bar by pressing windows +g key or searching in start menu “game bar”
- click on the settings icon in the top menu
- click on accounts.
- link your steam account
- restart your computer
that fixed it for me
