Thoggle Throttle Reverse Thrust

Are you using Developer Mode or made changes in it? no dev mode

Brief description of the issue: Before patch 7 you could assign a button toggleing throttle reverse and push your Throttle axis of your Hotas and it will decrease on reverse (to manage reverse on plane) … now it’s conflictual and not working (throttle won’t go lower and if you maintain button you have double animation - throttle going up and down in same time)

PC specs and/or peripheral set up of relevant: Warthog Hotas with a big PC

Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue: last patch 7

My post would just be a copy of yours. Kinda hard to stop a 787 without it. Do they test this nonsense?

Having the same ■■■■ issue. It baffles me that something so simple and needed for a safe landing could be screwed up. I mean, we’re still having issues with it banking out the flight path within autopilot. The dead zone theory is garbage.

I just found a long thread on it in the Aircraft Systems bugs thread. It’s unbelievable that they’d miss something like stopping the plane. Sad…

Mind sharing that thread?

I have the same issue. No Reverse thrust.

Same issue here, no thrust reverser. My key is set to ‘ctl+z’, no longer works. Also, the rudder goes crazy on me making steering impossible…

Same here, only tried the 747 yet, but I assume it’s general. No way to toggle the reverse thrust, but the key binding is still good. It has not been removed by the SU7 patch.

Hoping for a quick fix soon!

Search the forums. There are other threads on this

Short answer: use ‘Decrease Thrust’ either as a key or mapped to a peripheral. Works well. Both toggle and hold reverse thrust are inop.

Yes, thanks! Actually I was precisely reading this post: Reverse thrust broken - #21 by Alienasa

I’ll try this but that’s not the way I wanted to make it work :weary:
