Hey there, I am using a home made throttle controller, it uses a leo bodnar board. The problem I am having is in game in the settings menu everything is working fine, bind controls and the throttle moves smoothly from 0 to 100 (bound to throttle axis 1 0 to 100 percent). The second I go into any plane though the throttle does not work right.. it will move smoothly for partial throttle and then jump to 50 percent or jump to zero etc. Ideas what is wrong? The throttle works fine in X-plane and in windows control panel (been calibrated in control panel as well).
Thanks!
Which aircraft? What about your sensitivity curve.. which value do you set them to?
Does the controller behave like that when bound to something other than the throttle?
Could the throttle also be bound to something else, causing a conflict?
Any aircraft, I will find what the sensitivity curve is set to and get back to you.
I have not tried binding it to anything else, can try that though. I click the clear bindings option when binding the throttle, so should not be bound to anything else I don’t think. Unless that leaves other controllers/devices possibly still bound to the throttle.
Hi
I had exactly the same issue with my CH throttle after the last patch…for me it turned out that the update had duplicated the throttle axis on 2 off my ch peripherals in that the throttle was on a linear dial on my joystick and a lever on my throttle Quadrant…once I deleted one the other worked without issue …so would just check any other peripherals are conflicting.

Try binding the lever to the -100 to 100 throttle axis. Not sure what data your axis is sending out but if it uses negative values, IE 16384 to -16384, instead of 16384 to 0 then i’m pretty sure you need to use the -100 to 100 axis binding. My toe brakes are like that.
