Brief description of the issue:
Levers seem to have a mind of their own. When I move a lever on my brovo throttle quadrant the planes lever moves about erratically. If I disconnet the BTQ and try to move the levers ‘‘in game’’ the still move on their own. Ever since update 1.16.2.0

I have not seen this myself, but I will keep an eye out for it.
It would be worth confirming whether this is a cosmetic issue. For example, if I move my prop lever, do I see erratic behaviour on the RPM guage, or just the animation of the VC prop lever?
Hello, (I’m a first time user of the forum)
I now have checked my Assistance settings and turned-off whatever
I had turned on. Went back into sim and still shows erratic behavior.
I have disconnected my Brovo Throttle and still get erratic behavior using my mouse to move the levers.

I had a nearly 2 hour flight in the new Turbo Arrow IV earlier, and I saw no erratic behaviour with eBay of the levers.
Do you have perhaps AI control turned on? There are options found on the top menu to let the co-pilot take over certain functions.
Hi
Yes I have exactly the same issue, my CH Throttle Quadrant which was working perfectly before this patch, now is unusable, the levers erratically move and suddenly when going passed a certain point change direction .
I’ve checked and tried sensitivity settings removed the peripheral and re loaded profiles …nothing so much for this patch improving CH products.
My POV settings on my CH Fighterstick have also been screwed and now I cannot use to look round the cockpit without using FreeLook in Auto mode which means you have to hold the POV button to look in a certain direction…meaning I need a 3rd hand to operate anything…totally useless.
I have opened a bug report on the zen desk but still no reply
Made a video for youtube …
Title: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2021 05 28 12 06 17 Crazy Levers??
haha what the heck is going on there. Must be some kind of AI control.
Quite a bit of flying in the Spitfire this evening.
No erratic axis behaviour observed.
Previous “reset to 50%” axis behaviour apparently fixed.
Everything stays where I put it.
Virpil CM2 and Virpil CM3 throttles. (Used simultaneously for throttle, prop pitch and fuel mix etc)
I’ve flown both the Got Gravel Vertigo, and the BBS BN2 Islander this evening for over four hours. No twitchy lever issues, no movement by themselves, and no retarding to 50% when you got to the Esc menu,
Thanks for your help.
I don’t know what “reset to 50%” means.
Still no resolution for my conundrum.
I can only see “reinstallation” coming.
Hi
Yes I’m thinking re install is the only option left
There was a bug in the previous version where pressing the Esc key to go to a menu, then pressing again to go back to flying caused some quadrant levers to go back to ~50%. That was fixed yet some claim it still occurs.
Regarding your moving levers with mouse, so you have any other devices plugged in that might be getting scanned, and then resetting where the levers should be?
For example, if I grab the throttle lever with the mouse, and move it, because I have a throttle quadrant connected, the levers will be reset to where my physical hardware is set.
Are you certain this isn’t what you are seeing? Just trying to help you avoid a re-install that probably won’t fix anything.
OMG, I do have that “50% decrease when escape key pressed” too. Until I found the “pause-breake” key.
Alas, I did REINSTALL the SIM. Guess what…the throttle now works but the mixture does not. Go figure.
Haven’t run the SIM today yet. Maybe something has changed over night.
But, that somebody else but me had that 50% bug told me that at least I’m not completely nuts.
Thanks again…
Hi
I’m having the exact same throttle issues after this patch
I even deleted all profiles and went back to just keyboard and mouse and I Still have a throttle jumping all over the place.
I can operate the throttle by grabbing with mouse etc and move but it still does it’s own thing …hovering the mouse over the throttle shows its value changing by as much as 20% …throttle variation …
Totally Un-Useable on any aircraft …Thanks Asobo great improvement on my CH throttle Quadrant which was working perfectly before YOU got involved
Try starting a flight with AI on. Let it fly for a while, then turn AI off and see if you can operate the controls. This is all I got short of reinstall which resolved my issues. Good Luck.
Hi
Thanks for your reply,
Well 9 hrs later …removed all connected devices , un-installed everything all store packages …re loaded …re attached peripherals one by one …re calibrated … and fingers crossed
I have my ch throttle, fighterstick and Logitech panels all working and the throttle chatter has gone …me hopes …
Will try a flight tomorrow, but hopeful it’s okay …until the next update lol
Anyone get this figured out. My Prop levers move on there on. Whether i have my throttle quad set up or not. its the only lever that does it. I am ready to give up on MSFS
