My Saitek throttle quadrant cannot control the throttle while I am in VR cockpit view. The yoke works. When I switch to VR outside view, it can control the throttle. In non-VR mode, both views work. Is this a problem for others too?
Is it plane specific or happens with all the planes?
I’ve noticed my throttle doesn’t work with Hawk T1. Works with everything else.
Is your mouse pointer over a Toolbar window at the time you’re using the throttle? If so then move the mouse away from the toolbar window and your throttle should work, this is a known bug which is being fixed for SU8…we hope.
If it’s not that then it’s something else.

I noticed this if you bring up the VFR map, or ATC window. Never had it before. i find if I just click on some open space on dash board somewhere I am good to go again. But if I play with map zoom etc… it will happen,
Yes any toolbar window with the mouse over it will render all controls unavailable, even using the VR Zoom does the same thing. It was found during SU7 Post Beta but not dealt with accordingly, hence it is being looked at for SU8.
Thank you! I had been wondering why I was having periodic throttle failures.
Gave me the chance to practice “what would I do with a real throttle failure” at a bad moment at least.
