Throttle slider only goes to 60% power (MS FFB2 joystick)

Hi there,

On my MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 stick i only get up to 60% Throttle on the slider, even though i Calibrated the stick in Windows and completely reconfigured the Joystick.
Throttle is set under “Power Management > Throttle > Throttle Axis” to “Joystick Slider X” by selecting “Start Scanning” and moving the throttle slider on the stick and clicking “Validate”

Wen i than try to fly Throttle wont go further than 60% in air, but wen i go back to setup profile the slider indicator moves all the way up and down.
(in other games etc. the sticks throttle works just fine)

Am i doing something wrong or am i missing something?

EDIT: it only goes to 60% on Dark Star, 80% on the F18, and as far as i can see to 100% on Passenger Planes, Prop Planes and Helicopters, so i am guessing it has to do with the Afterburner…

I did not find the setting for Afterburner yet, but is there a way to bind it to the throttle slider? on an other flight game i had you could select the last 10% of the slider to activate the after burner. (and the first 10% to activate airbrakes for example)
Is that posible here also?

Ok, i found it after some research.

Afterburner is in a weird location under “Instruments and Systems” > “Engine Instruments”
I selected “Toggle Afterburner” and set it to the Throttle Slider, now the afterburner kicks in if you push the throttle to full.

So this one is solved and i can continue trying to get the rest of my stick setup.

Thanks for the ones who have read this, and i hope it is useful to someone else in the future.
