Throttle stuck on full power when landing

Hello,
I got an issue when approach for landing I want to reduce the throttle , my thrustlever doesn’t respond I have to land with full Power, when I checked in the flight control section my joystick and thrustlever showed no any snags. How can I solve that issue?

Does it happen on all aircraft? Do you have any assits on? What throttle do you have?

There is a possibility that, for some reason the go around button is being acivated.

Hello,

I own a Saitek Joystick X52 pro with Thrust.pad. It happens on the Piper Super Cub when I takeoff the thrust works normally as soon I want to land again coming in from the other side of the airstrip I cannot reduce the throttle power I land with full power, even when the aircraft is on ground the throttle won’t reduce , the thrust indicator needle goes crazy shaking around I don’t know where is the go around button maybe in the flight control Optons menue?

OK, what I recommend is to disable all assists. It seems to me like there may be the pilot assist enabled which is taking control of the aircraft. If you press tab and click on the icon that looks like a pilot with a captains hat, ensure to untick all assists to make sure that nothing in terms of auto assists are taking control of your aircraft. Let me know if this doesn’t work.

I tried out two different aircraft a Cessna 172 and a Piper Supercup. When the aircraft was ready for takeoff flaps were set I accelerated the aircraft, lifted off the ground impeccably well, soon after the climb I straightened out and tried to take back the throttle a little bit then suddenly the engine indicator needle started to shake forth and back getting crazy as the throttle didn’t respond at all to take back the throttle I unticked all flight assists in the menue with the pilots hat, not of any avail! so I had to crash the plane Piper Cup as well as Cessna 172 with full power into the ground. I tried out the twin engined aircraft Diamond TA62 for a change there is no any trouble at all the issue does not exist. All workes fine as it should be!!! somewhat strange.

OK, right, it may be an issue with your throttle. Can you test by disconnecting it and using F2 and F3 to decrease and increase the throttle respectively. If that solves the problem then it sounds like your throttle has an issue which might be related to dust (cleaned using contact cleaner) or an issue more serious.
