Brief description of the issue:
Ever since GOTY edition update, my sim CTD’s when I select “Next Pilot View” I’ve tried new hardware profiles, mapping the command to a different key and it still CTD’s when selecting Next Pilot View. I’ve got updated drivers, updated Windows OS. I’ve gone thru the crazy steps to delete my cloud saves (not sure if that worked, though). This is the reason I quit PC gaming. I t-shoot IT/Software problems for a living, I don’t want to work when I’m supposed to be having fun. Anyone out there experienced something similar?

Yes I am seeing this since SU7. I have the airbus TCA officer pack from Thrustmaster and anytime I use the HAT switch to look right in an external view it crashes to desktop. Empty community folder and also whilst in safe mode aswell

So, what’s the fix? I’ve removed the Next Pilot position from my controller profile and just scroll thru previous positions until I get where I want. Tedious and annoying. Maybe I will open a Zendesk ticket and see what that does. Anyone know if there’s anything listed on a FAQ page or somewhere?

It is rather frustrating, no? It isn’t a hard issue to replicate and is tied to a default keybind on the Xbox.

For whatever reason it isn’t on the known issues list. This rankles.

I’ve posted to Zendesk, but I’d recommend doing the same.

I really, really miss having the ability to access this function. I’d had it all mapped to my Hotas “hat” and it isn’t the same with a workaround.
