Thrustmaster Airbus stick Deadzones - AP won't follow GPS. Please help

Hi all,

I have never had any issues with autopilot on anything at all… and somehow last night my Thrustmaster Joystick settings got messed up. Now, even a simple Cessna 172 won’t follow the GPS flight plan. I must have changed something and now I can’t really use AP. I BELEVE I didn’t even have deadzones set up originally at all - whatever the default setting was on that thing, that’s what I used. Is there any way to restore that default setting? I tried to set deadzones to 2, 5, 10 percent… this isn’t helping. Somehow last night, I was able to have the JF Arrow to follow it again after I hit Reset on all axis and set deadzones to 2. But today the 172 or the Embraer Bandeirante won’t follow GPS. I am puzzled and frustrated. Also, could anyone explain the difference between Extremity Dead Zone and Dead Zone? Can anyone share the settings that work for them?

This is what mine look like right now (when it’s NOT working)

Also, I can eliminate a factor of mods - I have not changed or added ANYTHING since it was working perfectly, so those are NOT an issue.

Hi Jeremy

Those look more like an Airliner profile but;

Try these settings above. I follow a guy on YT who explains sensitivity so well for GA in MSFS he is first class MSFS - Adjusting Controller Sensitivity Curves - YouTube

Thank you. This issue was resolved later that day - it was the Locale/Multilanguage Encoding Beta setting in Windows that enabled itself and caused all sorts of issues.
