Help PLEASE!!! I’ve not been able to get neither the Thrustmaster Boeing Quadrant nor VelocityOne Flightstick to map properly in any aircraft in MSFS 2024. They both work perfectly in 2020, with all the mappings easily working in EVERY aircraft, but not in 2024. For example, the reverse thrust, both propeller and jet engine, does not map to the TM Q, even though it’s mapped on-screen, nor does the trim setting (13 and 14) in the V1 stick. The autopilot master works on the Daher 930, but not on the Airbus A320 nor Boeing 737, but the mapped switches on the V1 do not work.
I should mention that the TM Boeing Quadrant diagram does not show up when selected in the mapping section (I did download the latest TM driver), but the V1 does have a screenshot with the right number assignments, but many of them simply don’t map correctly, such as the trim setting for the rotary dial 13/14, which does not work on any aircraft…but works fine in 2020.
I’ve meticulously copied all my 2020 settings and tried to duplicate them in 2024, but only a few work. So flying the Airbus A320/A318 or Boeing 737 is nearly impossible, because the AP won’t set, and the trim controls are too finicky for manual flight…INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING!!! The Daher AP does follow the flight plan, but not on any of the jets I’ve tried (the Longitude AP seems to work, but drops out for some reason.) Even the Daher 930 settings are not mapping properly, nor working consistently…the ILS approach setting, for example, will not map nor work even when mouse pressing, and I’m having serious problems adjusting the cockpit camera for landing, which is not a problem in 2020.
As soon as I go back to 2020, everything works fine, all the settings are remembered for each aircraft, and the controls work flawlessly. As soon as I use 2024, nothing works properly, few essential controls work reliably, and so every flight is a mess…I end up crashing or aborting. I was impressed by the autumn landscape in Vermont, something I miss in 2020, but find it difficult to enjoy when the aircraft controls are not working reliably.
If anyone has videos to help in setting 2024 with these controllers reliably, I would really appreciate your recommendations. I would love to use all the wonderful features in 2024, but right now I’ve spent hours trying to make it work but without much success. Help PLEASE!!!
