Thrustmaster Boeing yoke issue

With any aircraft, supplied or third-party (Flythemaddog, PMDG), the interior and exterior camera performs a constant yaw. A clean reinstall of the Thrustmaster driver does not resolve the problem. Swapping USB cables, changing USB ports on the pc does not resolve the issue. No combination of button pressing or switch toggling improves/resolves the problem. Thrustmaster suggest MSFS problem. Reasonable suggestions welcome.

This is a sadly-common hardware fault with the analog thumbstick on the right horn of the yoke. Over time it generates noise and drift (very similar to the all-to-common Joycon drift in Switch controllers and the same kind of drift in analog sticks in XBox and PS4/5 controllers as well). The only user-solutions are to either create a rather large central deadzone in the controller sensitivity page in the sim, or simply unbind all the camera controls from that stick.

Mine is the same on 2024, but fine on 2020, and I am on an Xbox series X…Given up and gone back to 2020 and all fine.

Thank you for the tips. When Thrustmaster blew me off I had a feeling this might be the case.

Hi, I found the fix for 2024 go to your settings and in flght controls and primary flight controls, unbind the rudder axis which is set for the view button on the yoke. Once you have done that you can then bind another button or in my case a set of thrustmaster pedals to work correctly. Now working correctly, hope that helps. There are video’s on you tube that show you how to do it as well.
