Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog keeping system awake magically solved?

Hi,
Even if this is not directly related to MSFS, I just wanted to share that with the Win11 updates KB5022845 and KB5022497 which I received today, the problem with the system not going to sleep with Thrustmaster’s Warthog devices connected is suddenly gone. I can keep all switches active and it still goes to sleep. Before, I couldn’t even let the pedals plugged in. Also the problem started to come over time. First everything worked, then after a while, I had to turn off all switches and buttons and in the end, even joystick and pedals had to be unplugged.

I am curious to know if others are experiencing the same right now.

There’s a thread already on this issue:

Hmm, thanks. How come I got the update so delayed? Yesterday, my equipment was still giving me a headache. Anyway, it seems I was not the only one. Thank you.

Glad it worked out for you. Yesterday was the normal update Tuesday, so that’s when I got mine too. Not sure how the other folks picked it up earlier. I’ve never bothered going into the actual MS pages to see if you can pick up some updates earlier. Anyway, at least that problem is fixed for some folks.
Regards

I hope it stays like that. The problem mus have occurred with other updates back then because in the beginning, everything worked fine. Windows is a sneaky animal.

Just wrote a small tool that adds your devices (any controller of your choice) to a database. Automatically, when the app launches, it enables them, and when you close the app, it disables the devices. You can download the tool from the release section:
