Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One Profile(s) Not Saving for Xbox Series X

First of all, since the update I have lost two Hotas One profiles. In addition, when trying to customize settings for a new profile in the Control Options menu for the Hotas One for Xbox Series X, the profile does not save. Before the update, if I’m not mistaken, there were at least 3 profile slots available. Now there are only 2 (one Microsoft added for Helicopters and one Default). When trying to customize the Default slot, it allows you to name and change the settings for the profile, however, whenever you exit the Control Options menu and come back the new profile is gone. Please assist. Thanks.

I am dealing with the exact same thing and it is driving me crazy. First of all all of my custom profiles that I literally spent hours setting up are now all disappeared after this 40th anniversary update. But like you, when I go in and try to either create a new profile or make a copy of the defaults, as soon as I save it and name it whenever I come back in all my profiles are gone. This is very frustrating

It is very frustrating. I’ve only had the Hotas for a few weeks now and have really been enjoying the experience. Never would have thought the new update would change that. Go figure!! Let me know if you find out anything and I’ll do the same. Thanks.

So it’s certainly the simulator with the problem because it won’t save profiles for my HOTAS or my Velocity One yoke. I’m surprised we’re not hearing more people complain about this. Surely it’s not just us dealing with this.

I’ll keep you posted

Yeah, we can’t be the only ones. I actually tried to get used to the Default HOTAS mapping today simply because I wanted to use my flight stick. Not too bad actually, but I am much more comfortable with my own settings. Thanks.

So far, no issues here. Hotas One. Series X. I was in the beta. So maybe a different install process saved me? Anyway, this doesn’t appear to be universal for all users of the peripheral. Are you connected to online? Getting your cloud saves? Is it registering the HOTAS is connected? Just running through troubleshooting ideas off the top of my head.

In my case yes, the Sim is seeing both the TM HOTAS and also the Velocity One flight yolk. They both function with the default profiles. The problem is when I create a new custom profile and save it, as soon as I exit out of controller settings and then go back in, all saved custom profiles just disappear.

It’s bad enough that I lost all my saved profiles but now it won’t even let me save new ones I’ve tried to create. Plus the Velocity One now conflicts with the Xbox controller in that when I’m in world map view, the right thumb stick only has up and down control, left to right won’t work. As soon as I unplug the Velocity One, the Xbox controller works fine.

I’ve posted on another thread about this, but the more we highlight this hopefully the sooner Microsoft will address it.

I have lost all my profiles for the Velocity One on Xbox. I cannot save any new ones either, they disappear as soon as I go back to the flight.

It looks like it’s an issue for other manufacturers, not just Turtle beach - so likely a Flight Sim issue from 40th anniversary update.

Happy anniversary everyone!

Hello
I play on Xbox in France and I have exactly the same problems as you.
All my profiles are gone and I can’t save the ones I created since the November 11 update!! I hope for a fix very soon because I don’t want to fly with the default profiles!!

Yeah it shows that it recognizes the hardware. It allows me to use it in flight using the default settings. Just can’t save new profiles. Thanks for troubleshooting tips though.

I hope for a quick fix as well. Keep me posted if anything changes and I’ll do the same.

I feel your pain. Had a really hard time tweaking and perfecting my past profile so I could properly and comfortably control the aircraft and all it’s essential systems with the gamepad only for the update to delete it all.
And to make it worse, besides me spending 40 minutes now only to discover the profiles we create aren’t being saved, the UI feels a lot laggier and buggier now. The scroll bar in the controls options keeps moving to the top or bottom on its own and the sections that you can collapse (like “camera”, “flight controls” etc) keep expanding if I start rolling the scroll bar down.
Aaaagh, my TV heard some insults today…

Wait and see….

WooKeWarrioR, thank you for raising the issue… it is frustrating for all concerned, I trust there is an update soon - kind Regards

Over two months already and no sign of a fix.
Way to go.

That is major ordeal.

Have any of you tried creating a new Xbox profile (gamertag) and logging into the sim using that gamertag, which will create a new save file for that new profile?

From there try setting up the Hotas settings as you like and see if they will save. If they do, then we know the issue is with your save file and not the sim itself (the sim probably corrupted your save file, so the issue lies within the sim, but I think you understand where I’m going with this.)

If someone could/would do this, it may provide data to help the developers look for a cause to the problem.

Interesting, but then I’d think that by deleting my whole MSFS data / profile (which resets my flight hours, logbook, settings and everything else - launching the game as if it was the first time my gamertag launched it) it would have fixed the problem, but it doesn’t.

Anyhow, as I’m running through xCloud only my main profile can cloud launch the game, so I can’t test with a secondary account. If someone could though, I’d also appreciate it!
