The reason why the controls issue happened to you when you have both hardware connected is because the sim is receiving the inputs from both hardware at the same time. So if you move the rudder on the TCA but leaving the HOTAS 4 alone, the sim is receving the input for both Turn and neutral at the same time, confusing it.
So make sure you only have one hardware connected. If you want to use the TCA Sidestick, unplug your HOTAS 4. If you want to use the HOTAS 4, unplug the TCA Sidestick. That way the sim is only receiving valid input from one control, not conflicting inputs from multiple hardware.
