Hi All,
My TCA Airbus quadrant addon has flaps and air brake axis (addon).
Unfortunately, this Z (L and R, air brake and flaps) axis acts as a button, that is if you move flaps position 1 it acts as turning on axis 100%, and if you move flaps to position 0, it moves the axis to 0%.
I can see in the Windows Controller panel that Z axis (Air Brake and Flaps) is acting as a button, so it seems ThrustMaster issue or Windows issue.
Can someone confirm this and if there is a cure, can someone please reply with a way to make the Z axis an axis instead of the button (i.e., should be axis with number of positions)?
Thanks.
This sounds like the problem I had when I did a factory reset/calibration of the thrust levers, but didn’t use the full procedure to reset the flaps and air brakes at the same time. There is an extended reset procedure at https://ts.thrustmaster.com/download/accessories/manuals/TCA_Quadrant/TCA_Quadrant-Throttle-addons_Calibration.pdf

Thank you @ConstVoid, that did the trick.

I don’t know if this topic has been beat to death but here goes:
I just turned back to using MSFS after a long time. I have no issues with my Boeing TCA Thrustmaster Yoke and Quadrant on XP11/12 but, I have an axis issue with MSFS.
So when I use the default settings for the TCA axes (I.E. without making any changes to assignmehts or deleting any assignments), the axes work fine showing the sliding bar as it should. BUT, the second I try retasking one of the axes (any one), MSFS treats it like a button instead of an axis (?). Just as interesting, even though it works as a sliding bar axis, under default as I said above, if I go into the sensitivities, it won’t show a sliding bar for the Y or Z axes, only the X axis. I downloaded the current Thrustmaster drivers, updated the hardware firmware and there’s no change(?).
I know there’s an explanation for this, could someone help as I’d like to fire off a flight in the PMDG 737z. Thanks so much!
